Natural history at the LSIC – this month: Otters

An excellent and lively talk on Wednesday evening, 20th July, at the LSIC.  Dr Aly McCluskie, senior conservation scientist with the RSPB, and local naturalist, spoke about otters – their habitat, behaviour, breeding patterns – and where they might be seen around Arisaig. The presentation attracted an audience of more than 30 people, all keen to learn more about  our native species, the Eurasian otter. To illustrate his talk, Aly showed some fantastic and memorable otter photos.
